It might be in California, or somewhere else, a place where the summer sun never meets autumn. By the pools — many pools — well-built men, archetypes of beauty, the kind that awaken pornographic fantasies, are consumed by desire and passion. The lover tells himself stories painted in an idyllic setting, where the frustrations and wounds of reality, those dialogues between him and the other running through his mind, glossed over, settle into a gentle sorrow, like a photo-novel, more bearable.
